Mobile emergency clinic in Idlib

Location and Country: Rural Idlib, Idlib Governorate · Syria

Responsible organization:Levant Health Network

Across rural Idlib governorate, more than forty primary health centres are damaged or lack grid electricity. The mobile clinic functions as an itinerant field dispensary, stopping on a bi-weekly schedule across seven informal settlements for displaced families.

Each crew consists of an emergency physician, two trained nurses, and a qualified pharmacy technician. Onboard equipment includes portable ECG units, battery-operated oxygen concentrators, and essential inventories of antibiotics, sterile dressings, and sutures.

Consultations are tracked via duplicate paper clinical sheets to preserve continuity of care for chronic hypertension and diabetic patients moving across informal sites.
