About LinkAid and our methodology
LinkAid is an open humanitarian monitoring infrastructure connecting individuals and organizations to field initiatives through physical units of measure, cost reporting, and a timeline of dated updates.
In the sphere of international cooperation and crisis response, the disconnect between resource mobilization and ground execution has strained trust. Individual donors and corporate partners often encounter campaigns driven by emotional appeals, yet devoid of technical specificity regarding actual physical output delivered.
LinkAid was conceived on a straightforward methodological principle: every humanitarian initiative can and must be defined through measurable units (metres of well drilled, caloric meals delivered, consultations provided, or square metres of classrooms completed) alongside a transparent unit cost.
We do not run field missions ourselves: we choose which organizations we publish, and we ask each one to document its work with periodic field logs, warehouse records and precise geolocations. What we publish is what the organization declares; where a public-registry entry exists we show its reference, so readers can check it themselves.
Accountability and Reporting Principles
Objective physical units
No vague promises: every initiative declares tangible metrics, from metres drilled to balanced meal rations.
Dated chronological timeline
Field updates carry dates, itemized amounts reported, and unedited documentary photographs.
No arbitrary extrapolations
Recorded progress reflects only works completed and reported as such at the date of the latest update.
Information on this platform is not an estimate or a projection. A project’s progress is calculated from the physical state of the work as reported by the organization’s field staff. When climate events, border customs, or security conditions slow operations, the chronological timeline records the interruption transparently.
LinkAid’s governance model eliminates speculative percentages and hidden overheads. All recurring packages and one-off donation avenues explicitly detail the exact fraction of impact units sustained, providing project records that are publicly accessible.
We maintain that the dignity of recipient communities and the trust of donors demand identical standards: sober communication, no pitying rhetoric, and results stated in numbers rather than adjectives.
